I’m running for Mayor because Rochester has given me everything. I started preschool here, attended our public schools, built my career here, got married here, and started my family here. This city invested in me, and I believe it's my responsibility to give back.
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of serving Rochester through public infrastructure, education, the International Relations Committee, and alongside our city government. One of the projects I’m most proud of is helping deliver Discovery Walk—a public space designed to connect people, neighborhoods, and our downtown. That experience reinforced something I’ve always believed: great cities aren’t built around buildings alone—they’re built around people.
Rochester stands at an important moment. We are growing rapidly, attracting new residents and businesses, and preparing for the future. But growth alone is not enough. It must be guided by thoughtful leadership that ensures every resident benefits from the opportunities ahead.
I’m running because I believe Rochester’s greatest chapter is still ahead of us. My vision is to build a city that is safe, affordable, economically strong, environmentally responsible, and prepared for the next 100 years. I believe government should be accessible, transparent, and focused on solving problems rather than creating them. I want City Hall to work alongside residents, neighborhoods, and businesses to build a stronger community for everyone.
My campaign is rooted in optimism, collaboration, and long-term thinking. I believe we can bring people together, make practical investments that improve everyday life, and leave Rochester better than we found it for the next generation.
Housing should be within reach for working families, young professionals, seniors, and first-time homebuyers. I will work to increase the supply of attainable housing by streamlining development, encouraging a variety of housing options, and partnering with builders and community organizations so Rochester can continue to grow without pricing people out of the city they call home.
I'll work to make Rochester a leader in transportation by expanding fast, reliable, frequent, and fare-free public transit while investing in safer streets, sidewalks, trails, and infrastructure. A modern transportation system improves mobility, reduces household transportation costs, supports economic growth, and better connects every neighborhood in our city.
Small businesses are the backbone of Rochester's economy. I'll establish a one-stop Small Business Office at City Hall to help entrepreneurs navigate permits, licensing, and city services. My goal is to reduce unnecessary barriers, encourage new investment, support local job creation, and make City Hall a true partner for businesses.
Every decision we make today should strengthen Rochester for future generations. I'll focus on long-term planning, responsible growth, environmental stewardship, government transparency, and fiscal responsibility so our city remains safe, prosperous, connected, and prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the next century.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
